1 John 3:2
““Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”“
Absolutes. I personally love them. Before we were born into this world, we were wrapped in a safe and watery environment inside our mother’s bellies awaiting our moment of birth. Today, you and I are awaiting the Lord’s return when we will experience a change that will transform these earthly bodies into brand new heavenly ones that are prepared for that glorious new world. What will our new bodies be like? John tells us that they will be like Jesus’ resurrected body, glorified and transformed.
Resurrection – the ultimate absolute! We who are alive and remain on earth at the rapture will experience an instantaneous transformation, a molecular re-composition. Our redeemed heavenly bodies will allow us to appear and disappear. They will be bodies that enjoy food, conversation and fellowship. Apparently, we will be touchable and more real than ever. Someone may ask, “Will I know my family and friends in heaven?” I cannot see any reason why we would be less discerning and knowing there than we are here. The older I get, the more exciting heaven becomes for me. Is it not true for you as well? I hope so, and may we all “look up for our redemption draws near.”
